In the general assembly of Institut International de Philosophie (IIP) held on Aug. 17th in Beijing, Prof. Bo CHEN was elected as a member of IIP. Prof. Bo Chen was nominated by the members of IIP from four countries. He is the only one elected among the three candidates in the general assembly. 

As a prestigious international society in philosophy,  IIP was established in 1937 in Paris aiming at the unity of intellectuals for the overall welfare of humanity guiding by philosophy. Currently, IIP has 67 members and 39 honorary members. Prof. Chen is one of the four Chinese members.
