Gan Chunsong is a professor of philosophy and vice director of Confucius Research Institute at Peking University. His major social affiliations include Executive Vice President of Chinese Confucian Academy, Director of International Confucian Association, and Academic Committee of China Confucius Foundation.
His work now focuses on Confucianism and Chinese Modern Philosophy. He also works as a specialist in Taishan Scholar Scheme, and a research fellow of Berggruen Institute. Gan Chunsong earned his bachelor and master degree in philosophy from Renmin University of China and a PhD in philosophy from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
